Roy and Jill Shurling moved to the Florida Gulf Coast in 2015 for the spectacular beaches and wonderful people. Northwest Florida truly offers some of the world's most beautiful beaches that still allow for affordable living. Roy's Grandfather was a roofer, and taught him from a young age to love construction and architecture. Roy studied Architecture before being led astray by the glamour of computers. He worked for 30 years for a Computer Aided Design software firm. After moving to Florida to enjoy life, he worked as a production manager for local builders before deciding it was time to spread his wings and design and develop his own brand of homes.
As a premier builder we strive to use the finest materials, the best and most reliable building techniques, using suppliers and partners that have the same integrity and passion for excellence that we do. We pride ourselves on offering homes and remodeling projects with luxury touches at affordable prices, without compromising the quality of the build. What you don't see in your home is as important as the beautiful finishes. We never cut corners on structure, HVAC, plumbing, and other key elements of the homes we develop. We will never compromise our integrity, and our partners are aligned with our goals.
Through Roy G. Shurling, P.A. Residential Designs we offer clients services for designing custom home plans according to their vision of ideal. Each design starts with an interview to understand the vision each client has for their future home. No two clients are alike, and it is essential to understand the desires and needs of a client before recommending or launching a plan. Having experience in building homes allows us to bring that expertise to use in designs. Many designers will begin by showing you a portfolio of work they have done, which can obscure your own dreams. We prefer to start with your dream, and then work together to create a reality that you will love. Each design is sent to a structural engineer for certification that construction requirements are met for your particular location.
Roy is also a licensed Realtor in the State of Florida so that he can assist clients to find the ideal building site for their dream home.
